Supplier of Dolomite Indonesia

Supplier of Dolomite

About Dolomite:

Supplier of Dolomite

Dolomite was named after the French mineralogist Deodat de Dolomieu. The mineral dolomite is commonly found in deposits of a sedimentary rock called dolostone. Dolomite is a true chemically uniform calcium magnesium carbonate with the chemical formula CaMg(CO3)2,
The inherent differences between dolomite and calcite drive the applications for dolomite. Dolomite is chosen for many construction and building product applications due to its increased hardness and density.

Supplier of Dolomite

Asphalt and concrete applications prefer dolomite as filler for its higher strength and hardness. Low silica low iron Dolomite finds use in a number of applications as a source of magnesium such as glass and ceramics manufacture.
Pratibha Refractory Mineral’s low silica non-crystalline Dolomite is used as sintering agent in iron ore palletisation and as a flux agent in steel making.

We widely export and supply our products (Talc Powder, Kaolin and Dolomite) in Indonesia. Main Cities of Indonesia where we export our products are Bali, Jakarta, Java, Kalimantan, Jambi, Tarakan, Ambon, Kali, Sumbawa, Timor, Ternate, Sulawesi, Buton, Sumatra, Batam and Bintan.

Supplier of Dolomite

Farmers use dolomite for agricultural pH control. The chemical industry uses Pratibha Refractory Mineral’s low silica low iron dolomite in making magnesium salts including magnesia, magnesium oxide (MgO), which is used in pharmaceuticals.
As an industrial mineral, dolomite usage is significantly less than calcite. This is primarily due to the relative lack of high brightness deposits of dolomite.
Pratibha Refractory Mineral’s high brightness dolomites share many of the applications of calcium carbonate.
THE SALIENT FEATURES OF OUR MICRONIZED HIGH BRIGHTNESS NATURAL DOLOMITE
·         Higher degree of purity, wet ability and whiteness (>97% against MgO) and average particle size (<5 micron  on Malvern Mastersizer 2000), it works great as a filler in paints and provides excellent hiding and flow point to the paint.
·        Pratibha Refractory Mineral’s high brightness dolomite powder acts as a low cost high whiteness filler in paper and plastics
·         Pratibha Refractory Mineral’s high brightness pH controlled dolomite powder makes a perfect filler for white soaps and reduces the requirement if TiO2 pigment.

About Kaolin Supplier of Kaolin

Kaolin is derived from the mineral Kaolinite which presents in the Earth's crust. In its natural state kaolin is a white, very soft powder consisting primarily of the mineral Kaolinite, which, under the microscope, is seen to consist of roughly hexagonal, platy crystals .These crystals may take a worm like and layered forms and rarely macroscopic forms. It is found in millimeter size. Kaolin as found in nature usually contains varying amounts of other minerals such as muscovite, quartz, feldspar, and anatase. It is white clay that contains aluminum, sodium, calcium, magnesium, and silicon.

In addition, unpurified kaolin is generally stained yellow by iron hydroxide pigments. It is usually necessary to bleach the clay chemically to remove the iron pigments and to clean it with water to remove the other minerals in order to prepare kaolin for commercial use.

Properties of Kaolin Supplier of Kaolin
Kaolin is mostly found in form of clay. It is also called china clay. It is usually white in appearance. Kaolin deposits can be classified into two types, primary is called residual and secondary is called sedimentary. It has soft and earthy texture. Kaolin is of roughly hexagonal size. It has varying amount of minerals into it. In high concentrations, the mineral appears in white pieces with a high level of flexible strength, and it can be used to produce several styles of ceramic products. Kaolin clay can also be mixed with other clays to create customized blends.
Kaolin’s whiteness and plasticity make it extremely suitable for its extensive use as a filler, extender, ceramic raw material and pigment. It is a unique industrial mineral, which remains chemically inert over a relatively wide pH range and it offers excellent covering when used as a pigment or extender in coated films and filling applications. Additionally, it is soft and non-abrasive and has a low conductivity of heat and electricity.
Applications Supplier of Kaolin
There are numerous applications of kaolin. It is mainly used by paper, Wires and cables, plastics and rubber, construction, paint and coatings, agriculture, ceramics, toothpaste, cosmetics, whitewash, organic farming,  and, thermal papers manufacturing firms.

About Dolomite:

 Supplier of Dolomite

Dolomite is composed of calcium magnesium carbonate and its chemical formula is CaMg(CO3)2 .The amount of calcium and magnesium is equal but sometimes small amount of iron and manganese may also be present. It is composed of 52.06% oxygen, 13.03% carbon, 13.18% magnesium, and 21.73% calcium. It is a soft mineral that occurs in crystals and sometimes in giant sedimentary rocks. Along with calcite and aragonite, dolomite makes up approximately 2 percent of the Earth’s crust.
The pure mineral is white in occurrence but when in impure form it can be pink yellow brown and gray. The yellowish brown color is due to presence of iron. Manganese content may give rosy pink color to crystal. The dolomite of dolostones is one of the most interesting of all the major rock-forming minerals. The structure of crystal of dolomite looks like calcite structure.

Properties of Dolomite

Dolomite appears in many different types of environments and its structural, textural and chemical characteristics may vary. The mechanism of formation of crystals may vary.  Its crystals range from transparent to translucent but typically they are translucent to opaque. It is both the mineral and rock type. The most common type of dolomite rock is a former limestone then it was dolomitized.
The structure of Dolostone is granular. The size of each grain ranges from microscopic up to a few millimeters across. They are common in group of rhombohedral crystals often with curved, saddle like faces. In powdered form, dolomite dissolves readily with effervescence in warm acids.

Applications of Dolomite
Dolomite is used as an ornamental stone. It is raw material for the manufacture of cement. It is widely used in petroleum industry. Large quantity of dolomite is used in production of float glasses. Dolomite and dolomitic lime stones are widely used in horticulture. Home and container gardening are the common examples of horticulture. It is used to maintain the pH of soils for better plantation. It is also used as a substrate to maintain the pH of salt water. Its reaction with acid also makes it useful. Therefore it is used for acid neutralization in chemical industries. It can be used as road base material.

Supplier of Dolomite

It is a source of Magnesia (MgO). It can be used in Paper Industry, Pharmaceutical Industry, Paint Industry, Rubber Industry, Plastic Industry, Tires Industry, Wall Putty Industry, PVC pipes, Ceramic Tiles, Detergent and Pottery. It has medical uses too. It can help develop stamina for dealing with hyperactive people. It is used for strengthening bones, teeth and muscles. Pink dolomite is used to treat insomnia.
